Our Neumarkt Classics, a BBQ and a relaxing Sunday brunch await you in our hidden garden, surrounded by trees, in a lovely part of the old town. If the weather is good and stable, we will automatically reserve a place for you in the garden. Your reservation is also valid in our bistro in bad weather.

APÉRO & WINE BAR

By day, a neighborhood café; by night, the new wine melting pot in the popular Zurich Niederdorf. The hundertwein Bar is a haven for lovers of wine, charcuterie, and cheese from both sides of the Limmat. The attractively priced wines scream "Apéro!" and can also be perfectly tempered and purchased over the counter with a fixed discount price of CHF 35.
 
 
hundertwein – if that sounds a little like Hundertwasser, you're absolutely right. Much of what is said about the great Austrian painter, architect, and his work can be applied to our wines, winemakers, and vintners: Colorful, playful, close to nature. Unconventional; rejecting the straight line. Imaginative and individualistic.
 
Our selection is limited to exactly 100 wines, which together form the Glou Glou 100 Index.

We welcome Sven Hohl from the Rebhalde Winery in Stäfa and Elia Liberto from the beautiful Grisons region. The two young winemakers may have drawn international inspiration, but they clearly bring Lake Zurich and Grisons terroir into their bottles. You can taste it with every sip.

As part of a unique collaboration with the Mai36 and Philipp Zollinger galleries, we present works of art that enrich our food culture and pay homage to the cultural tradition of the neighbourhood. 

Directly in the same building, the Kult-Theater Neumarkt with its experimental productions opens its doors to evenings in which taste and mind are nourished in equal measure.
